Miramar, Fla.-based the Service Cos., which provides cleaning, facilities maintenance and other staffing help to casinos, hospitality, education, health care and other companies, filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notice (WARN) with Ohio in June notifying of 70 layoffs. CINCINNATI ( Cincinnati Business Courier) - A company that did work at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati laid off 70 workers after its contract ended, but the casino has brought most of them on as employees and given them a raise, according to the casino's president, Justin Wyborn.
